A day with Dr. Gary Cass

Blanche Ely High School was the scene of an effective Flash-Mob For The Truth about Islam yesterday as supporters of the organization DefendStudents.org flocked upon the area, distributing flyers to the high school teens as they were leaving school for the day. I had the honor of participating in yesterday's events and it was a blast. Our group, led by Dr. Gary Cass, was made up of about 15 people from various entities including churches and Tea Party affiliates around Broward county that are quite concerned with the creep of radical Islam.

We staged beforehand at at a local church where Dr. Cass shared pointers with us as to how to most effectively carry out such a campaign for truth given that Dr. Cass has performed such outreaches various times in the San Diego area. The whole event went off without a hitch. Members of local law enforcement community stopped by and, although they seemed a bit bewildered in that they probably never encountered Americans exercising there 1st Amendment right to free speech in such a way, were polite and let the distribution of flyers go on unabated. The students and parents were overall quite receptive in that very few flyers were seen discarded on the ground. In order to see a copy of a similar flyer that was distributed just click here. Among the many points raised by the flyer that you can be almost certain is never discussed in any of the student's social studies classes are the following...

• Iran's former 'Supreme Leader', the Ayatollah Khomeini had sex with a 4 year old girl.







• Khomeini in doing so was only following in the footsteps of the prophet Mohammed who had the audacity to engage in such outright perversion as marrying his 6 year old niece.







• Mohammed referred to blacks as "raisin heads" (Hadith, vol. 1:662, vol. 9:256)







• 
  
  Muslims continue to enslave people to this day.

One would be hard pressed to find a more hate-filled, intolerant group of people on planet earth than the Gay Left, however radical Muslims take the cake on that distinction using a number of different metrics such as beheadings, honor killings and suicide bombings. The approach utilized by Dr. Cass involves targeting the young minds around the areas of the most radical mosques in America order to present opposing viewpoints to the whitewashed image of the World's Most Dysfunctional Religion so commonly crammed down our collective throats by a compliant and milquetoast media. The tide has only begun to turn people, and the good guys are winning.

Is Pornography a National Security Concern?

Today's article in Christianpost.com raises the issue of why so many Jihadists and those opposed to freedom are, seemingly, addicted to pornography. Indeed, I recall watching video from a reporter imbedded with US Army troops in Iraq and hearing one soldier lament (paraphrasing) 'These terrorists purport themselves to be such holy men, but when we analyze the content of their captured laptops, almost always we find they are filled with porn."

We all recall that pornography was discovered among the items in Osama bin Laden's compound. Also, if one were to research to see what country leads the planet in seeking pornography via internet search engines, they would quickly find that the hotspot of unrest known as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is by far and away the world leader.

The above cited article from Christianpost.com also mentions that child pornography was found on the computer of Naser Jason Abdo (above) who was recently arrested for conspiracy to attack Ft. Hood, Texas with a bomb.

With all theses instances of pornography adding up amongst Jihadists that would seek to do us harm, what affect might such a fascination with pornographic material have on someone? Some excerpts from the article...

Pornography is not a necessary or sufficient cause for terrorism, Bryson clarified, “yet pornography now appears frequently in the possession of violent terrorists and their supporters, including Osama bin Laden.” She said she wondered whether today’s “ubiquitous and increasingly grotesque” kind of pornography was “one of the influences warping the mentality of those who aspire to or who actually go on to engage in ever more grotesque public violence.”


..Bryson said there was a need to study the impact of pornography on those who use it, particularly on those who also become obsessed with extremist ideologies.


“So, I wonder, is anyone in the U.S. government tracking and surveying the presence and types of pornography on these media? If we have access to the libraries of the personal pornography preferences of those who support and engage in terrorist violence, we may have a window into the dark corners of their minds. What lurks there? It may be to our own peril that we would ignore this information before us.”


Pornography, she said, could not be seen as a “freedom” issue. “What if we are actually making ourselves less free by allowing pornography itself to be more freely accessible?” she asked.


“Could it be that pornography drives some users to a desperate search for some sort of radical ‘purification’ from the pornographic decay in their soul? Could it be that the greater the wedge pornography use drives between an individual’s religious aspirations and the individual’s actions, the more the desperation escalates, culminating in increasingly horrific public violence, even terrorism?”

What are your thoughts on the subject? Could pornography be a major contributing factor that helps desensitize the attacker and dehumanize the victims in Jihadist attacks?

The Islamic Lynching of Herman Cain

At last Monday's debate in New Hampshire among Republican presidential hopefuls, journalist Josh McElveen asked candidate Herman Cain about his stance on having a Muslim serve in his administration if he were elected president. One can watch the exchange by clicking here. Cain basically said...

"You have peaceful Muslims and you have militant Muslims – those that are trying to kill us. And so when I said I wouldn't be comfortable I was thinking about the ones that are trying to kill us," the former Godfather's Pizza CEO said during the first major GOP primary debate in New Hampshire


He added, "I do not believe in Sharia (Islamic) law in American courts. I believe in American laws in American courts, period."

I really don't see a problem with what Cain said. Perhaps the mainstream media can turn their nose up at Cain in this instance for not properly genuflecting before the Alter of Political Correctness three times and saying.. Islam is a religion of peace..Islam is a religion of peace..Islam is a religion of peace..


The whole exchange reminded me of an article by Bert Prelutsky from a couple of months ago in which he detailed the monumental error of discussiing conservative principals to a heavily democratic (read: Liberal) Rotary Club luncheon in Los Angeles. After finishing his opening remarks, Prelutsky then...

"... asked for questions. Therein, I made my biggest mistake. First off, instead of posing a query, the lady who had delivered the invocation took me to task for not pointing out that most Muslims are good people, and that some of her best friends are followers of Islam. I opined that most Germans were not Nazis and most Russians were not Communists, but Americans hadn't constantly been called upon to make that distinction. And just because most Muslims weren't blowing up Israeli school buses and pizza parlors, and weren't murdering American soldiers and pregnant women at Fort Hood and elsewhere, didn't mean a heck of a lot of them didn't favor bringing Shariah law to America or that they hadn't been contributing to terrorist organizations through Islamic charities until the FBI shut them down.


At that point, she stormed out."

As it usually is when liberals are confronted with inconvenient little things known as FACTS. And it's not like certain individuals arent trying to introduce Sharia Law in American courts either. And this is in addition, of course, to Harvard University's Islamic Finance project which seeks which seeks "to promote Shariah compliance in the U.S. financial sector". This in spite of complaints that Shariah Compliant Finance increases the risk of "securities fraud, consumer fraud, racketeering, antitrust violations, material support for terrorism and aiding and abetting sedition."



On a related note, earlier today while at Pamela Geller's blog Atlas Shrugs, I noticed the neat badge that one can install on their blog from the nice people ovar at thereligionofpeace.com. You can see it on the right as it tallies the number of attacks committed in the name of Islam just since 9/11. I defy anyone to show me a single religion that comes even close to these numbers, and if one visits their site, the following facts become clear...

But rather than the media trumpeting these facts, isnt it so much more fun to point out to Mr. Cain just how backward his way of thinking is? For an encore, perhaps the complicit media in this country could write a hard-hitting piece about how rearranging the deck chairs on the H.M.S. Titanic would have bought those folks considerably more time. Or they could ask Obama such penetrating questions like what his favorite color is and then speak at length about what it reveals concerning his personality. It would only be par for the course for such eager serving lapdogs.

On Leftist Cultural Suicide, the Maltese Falcon and Radical Islam

Judd Magilnick provides us with some valuable insight into the history of Western civilization with his latest offering over at The American Spectator . Sure, many of us have heard of or perhaps even seen the 1941 movie The Maltese Falcon starring Humphrey Bogart, but how many of us (like me) were previously unaware of the history behind the world's most desired bird?

"In the Hammett story, the Sydney Greenstreet character explains that the crusaders of the "French Hospitaller" were given the Island of Malta in perpetual fiefdom by King Charles of Spain, then head of the Holy Roman Empire. In return, these "Knights of Malta" were to annually provide the king with one of the prized falcons from Malta. This capsule summary is correct, but deficient in explaining why this group of idealists received the island. While not germane to the story's plot, there is much more to understand about the real falcon and the real knights. The mysterious fat man does not explain why this particular group of idealists had earned the Island.

Malta is a tiny island -- but in its strategic position south of Sicily it is big enough to constitute a barrier to any Mediterranean invasion of Western Europe from the east. The Knights were given Malta after their heroic though unsuccessful defense of the Island of Rhodes from the Ottoman invaders in 1522. Then, in a famous battle on Malta in 1565, 600 knights successfully stopped the progress of Suleiman the Magnificent and 40,000 of his Ottoman fighters. Right there on that island, Western Europe was, at least for a time, saved from Moslem conquest.

Given this history, we are losing a spectacular opportunity by not treating the Maltese Falcon as a trophy of the successful resistance to Islamism. The bird is no less an icon of successful defense than is (ignoring motives) the Old North Church is to the invading British. In a rational world, schoolchildren in Europe and North America would be making falcons stuffed with candy.

Note also that the "Maltese cross" is associated with firefighting, such as the badge of the NYFD. This tradition has come down from the heroism of the Knights of Malta -- 1900 years before the World Trade Center burned -- when attempting to scale the walls of Jerusalem, the Saracens threw down naphtha and fire."

The entire article is well worth the read and if anyone doubts that there is an active, long-term plan to destablize the west and institue Shariah, simply click on this recent interview with Kamal Saleem in which this convert to Christianity is now in fear for his life. Saleems states in the interview...

"I was taught jihad; there are four kinds – war over self, political, war like 9/11, and silent war, the destruction of a civilization from within, the "Trojan horse" cancer. I was sent to America for this kind of war.

My mission in America was to take the kids, change the culture. The Muslim Brotherhood sent me; the Saudis financed us. We opened mosques and targeted universities, politicians, the jail system and poor neighborhoods."

Perhaps we here in the west need to take note of what is going on in the world and our own countries and adopt a much longer view of history. This in light of the worldview of those opposed to our way of life that would seek to take over using our own hard-fought liberties to do so.

Epic Fail of the WaPo

The Wasington Post refused to run the above, one-panel cartoon strip last Sunday for fear of offending Muslims. As Robert Spencer describes it...

".. John D. Stackpole, who wrote in to the paper to call their editorial staff cowards, which they manifestly are, and added: “The wonderful irony [is that] great newspapers like the Washington Post, that took on Nixon—run in fear of this very tame cartoon, thus validating the accuracy of the satire.”

If any person or group is considered off-limits for critical examination and even ridicule, that person or group has been given a privileged position in society, and has a free hand to do what it wishes. That's why the freedom of speech is an indispensable bulwark against tyranny: It prevents authoritarian rulers from arrogating to themselves and exercising unfettered power...

It is also virtually indisputable that the Post would never hesitate to run an item that might offend Christians, and would have been the first to start talking about the freedom of speech if those Christians complained. So why is the Post so solicitous of Muslims? Why the double standard? Because they know that when I get offended, no one gets killed, and when Christians get offended, no one gets killed, but when Muslims are offended, people die."

Does anyone doubt in the slightest that a huge double standard exists here? Not only would the WaPo not hesitate for a second to run a cartoon that Christians would consider offensive, but at the first sign of protest among any member of the Christian community,the editorial board would be quick to lecture anyone who would be critical of such a cartoon on the importance of "freedom of speech" and the necessity of "tolerance in a Western democracy". Phoney, sissified, wanna-be guardians of free speech who instead are suppressing it and at the same time enabling a dysfunctional religion that is responsible for the majority of all religious wars in history while being a relative new comer to the world scene.

On Obama, Political Suicide and the Mosque at Ground Zero

Fresh on the heels of back-to-back home runs by Nile Gardiner on his recent articles comparing the Obama administration with L' Ancien Regime along with listing 10 key reasons why the Obama presidency is in meltdown, Chairman Zero has unexplicably decided to weigh in on the contraversy to build a thirteen story mosque and Islamic center a mere stone's throw away from Ground Zero of the attacks on 9/11. Quote...

"We must never forget those who we lost so tragically on 9/11, and we must always honor those who have led our response to that attack – from the firefighters who charged up smoke-filled staircases, to our troops who are serving in Afghanistan today. And let us always remember who we are fighting against, and what we are fighting for. Our enemies respect no freedom of religion. Al Qaeda’s cause is not Islam – it is a gross distortion of Islam."

Is this some sort of sick joke?

Seriously. Please explain to me why we should show deference in this particular matter to a religion in which the very idea of "Freedom of Religion" is anathema to it's very core. It staggers the imagination. Unless President Obama could guide me toward the largest Episcopal church in Saudi Arabia or the 3rd largest Pentecostal gathering there, I'm calling Complete BS on this one.

Not to be outdone by the above columnists, Fred Dardick explains in perfect clarity how such an idea of the construction of a mosque on this site sets in the minds of many people on these shores...

"For you liberals who somehow got forwarded this column and still don’t know what Sharia law is, allow me to enlighten you. It is the literal interpretation of Islam that leads to the widespread abuse and enslavement of women. It’s also called the reality of “that woman in Iran who’s waiting to see if she’s going to get stoned to death for adultery” rules. Who knows if she really committed adultery? In Islamic societies all a man has to do to give his wife the proverbial dirt nap, is simply claim she did.

Under Sharia law, men are the judge, jury and executioners of women, and Obama apparently thinks Americans are too stupid to know this. While Obama may be able to lawyer his way around the Ground Zero mosque as a “religious tolerance” issue, the rest of us know a load of bs when we see one...

Not only do Americans view the structure as anything but a bridge to understanding, Islamists around the world will also rightly perceive the mosque in a very different light than the simple “right to build a place of worship”. They will see it as spitting in the face of evil America and hold it up as a shining example in their enslaved societies to promote hatred of the West. It will become a “stupid Americans let us build a mosque on their graves, so let’s finish the job and kill them all” kind of thing.

Ever wonder how the Islamic Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem got built smack dab on top of the ancient Jewish temple mount? I can promise you, it was no attempt to “build bridges” either that put it there. It was more like “let’s take over the Jews most treasured religious site and plant a mosque on it to show them who’s boss”. That’s why Jews pray at the Western Wall, because if they tried to visit the top of the temple mount, the Arabs would riot.

Every time Obama speaks to Muslims, it’s always how wonderful and understanding Islam is compared to our knuckle dragging Judeo-Christian customs. Rather than apologizing endlessly for America, and in this case our opposition to the Ground Zero mosque, how about being honest for a change, champ?

Over the past 100 years, America has brought peace and prosperity to billions around the world, while at the same time Muslims have been slaughtering and enslaving their neighbors, especially women, wholesale. Talk about the war that never ends. Shia vs. Sunni violence has been going on for centuries and, by the looks of Iraq, will continue for centuries more.

The irony is if our President, who clearly feels his #1 job is reaching out to the Muslim world, had half a brain in his communist head, he would be out there speaking forcefully against Sharia law and educating his fellow Islamists to the dangers of a literal interpretation of the Koran."

Not that I thought that Obama stood a good chance at re-election before this latest display of political ineptitude, I think that he completely destoyed his chances at another term with his position on this particular matter. Time will tell, of course, but I think that all attention would wisely be focused on the upcoming Republican primary to gauge who will be the next US president. Thats IF of course, the Lizard Queen doesn't smell blood in the water and attempt to dethrone the usurper-in-chief herself.
