McCain ignored massive voter fraud in '08 to avoid riots

I have known for years of the existance of massive voter fraud in Philadelphia...

"In Philadelphia, for example, ward leaders distribute register-by-mail postcards to local residents. The cards are stamped and pre-addressed and each contains the address of a vacant lot or a boarded-up house in neighboring Camden, NJ or Wilmington, DE. The voter simply prints his/her name on the card, signs it, and drops it in the nearest mailbox.

On Election Day, after voting in their home precincts (and perhaps one or two other Philadelphia precincts), voters are picked up in buses and mini-vans and driven across the Delaware River to Camden. After voting in New Jersey elections, they’re driven south to the Commodore Barry Bridge and back across the Delaware to Wilmington. Then, when they’ve voted in Delaware, they’re driven back to Philadelphia where each voter is given $20 or $25 for their time and effort. The money they are paid is called “street money” in Democratic circles.

In 2005, New Jersey Republicans released the results of a study which showed that some 170,000 New Jersey residents were registered to vote in two or more states. Of these, some 6,500 voted in two or more states in the 2004 General Election."

Now, it is coming to light that John McCain is ever bit the milquetoast, also-ran that wasn't even really trying to win the presidency at all in 2008 that I suspected him to be...

"Leaked emails from the intelligence group Stratfor recently revealed some shocking allegations of massive Democrat voter fraud in 2008. The emails revealed by WikiLeaks say that the McCain campaign decided to ignore the wide spread voter fraud in order to avoid massive civil unrest — even though it meant he’d lose the White House.

The emails say that Democrats were caught “stuffing ballot boxes in Philly and Ohio,” but the McCain campaign decided to let it all go.

After discussions with his inner circle, which explains the delay in his speech, McCain decided not to pursue the voter fraud in PA and Ohio, despite his staff’s desire to make it an issue. He said no. Staff felt they could get a federal injunction to stop the process. McCain felt the crowds assembled in support of Obama and such would be detrimental to our country and it would do our nation no good for this to drag out like last go around, coupled with the possibility of domestic violence.

You can bet your bottom dollar that fraud will be rampant this time around as well and the Justice Department charged with investigating instances of voter fraud steadfastly refuses to prosecute blatant voter intimidation in Philadelphia, never mind something as innocuous as voter fraud.

If Romney has half a brain, and I think he does, he should be quietly mobilizing observers for the upcoming elections, especially in PA and OH, to ensure that they are fair and on the up and up.

Congratulations Frank Schaeffer, Youre Officially the World's Biggest Idiot

Chuck Colson's body must have barely been cold when *ahem*, "writer" Frank Schaeffer put forward what must be by far the most ludicrous entry written thus far re: Mr. Colson (above) recently entering the Church Triumphant. I'm regularly pouring over articles out on the net on a daily basis and I must admit I've never come across anything that manages to be nearly so spectacularly obtuse, misinformed, bigoted and socially autistic all at the same time.

For starters, Schaeffer's pigswill masquerading as commentary is titled An Evangelical Homophobic Anti-Woman Leader Passes On, but I guess we can all be thankful for small wonders in that he didn't decide to keep his original title, Religious Right Bigot Chuck Colson Goes to His Reward. Here's an example from Schaeffer of how to lay bare your complete stupidity for all to see and yet remain unapologetically proud and blissfully unaware of what an imbecile you are making of yourself...

"Evangelical Christianity lost one of its most beloved and bigoted homophobic and misogynistic voices with the death of Charles W. 'Chuck' Colson, a Watergate felon who converted to 'evangelicalism' but never lost his taste for dirty political tricks against opponents...

Colson teamed up with far right Roman Catholic activist Professor Robert George of Princeton to launch the dirty tricks campaign to brand President Obama as “anti-religious” with Colson’s and George’s “Manhattan Declaration.” This was a trap they set for the administration that finally paid off when they talked a number of bishops into branding Obama as anti-religious because he wanted women to have access to contraception even if they worked for Roman Catholic controlled institutions.

Colson worked closely with various right wing Roman Catholic bishops to launch the current Republican Party war on women and gays in the name of “religious freedom” having become one of the chief practitioners of the evangelical/far right myths of victimhood at the hands of left wing media, colleges etc., etc. Colson was also a key figure in organizing the Prop 8 anti-gay marriage California iniatives. Colson was a key figure in calling the depriving of women of insurance coverage for contraception a religious “civil liberties” issue and provided evangelical cover for the Roman Catholic bishops’ misogynist bigotry."

If one were to define 'bigotry' as "stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own" than Mr Schaeffer obviously suffers from some sort of self identification problem and is engaging in projection here. If speaking ill of the recently deceased in terms of hurling perjoratives that simply aren't true doesn't qualify as 'stubborn and complete intolerance' of an opposing belief, than I'm afraid nothing does. I guess in Schaeffer's hard left world, the fact that nearly half of women oppose the government cramming it's ethics down the church's throat matters not a whit. One is simply a mysoginist and Schaeffer apparently can divine that it is he who is on the side of the angels and advocating for the freedom of the church to not be bullyed by the state was simply untenable for Colson.

It seems lost on Schaeffer that attaching an adjective to someone that has conclusively been shown to be eytymologically incorrect like 'homophobic' and especially to a man who cannot defend himself is a clear cut case of 'complete intolerance' (or socially challenged behavior at best).

If I could ask Schaeffer just one question, I would pose the following. Given the tremendous and indesputable impact Colson's prison ministry has had over the decades, exactly at what point does all of that, (in terms of lives changed for the better, recidivism apparently reduced and families made whole) become irrelevant? For example, what if Colson simply preferred traditional marriage as opposed to pretend, sodomy-based 'marriage' and yet was neutral of the matter of the Obama administration manufacturing crisis by attempting to tell the church how to conduct it's business and forcing it to violate millenia of tradition in an attempt to garner more votes from women? Would that be enough to let the poor guy rest in peace?

In conclusion, I would like to say that if one were to pour over years worth of entries on this site, I wouldn't be at all suprised if an example could be produced in which I was critical of someone who had recently passed on. I would only add that if ever I have done so, I did not aim derision at a person who left the world a better place than when they entered into it.

On Racist Democrats, Gun Control and the Klan

Ann Coulter gives us a history reminder in her latest article that the Left has been largely successful in airbrushing from US history...

"Liberals have leapt on the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in Florida to push for the repeal of “stand your ground” laws and to demand tighter gun control. (MSNBC’S Karen Finney blamed “the same people who stymied gun regulation at every point.”)

This would be like demanding more funding for the General Services Administration after seeing how its employees blew taxpayer money on a party weekend in Las Vegas. We don’t know the facts yet, but let’s assume the conclusion MSNBC is leaping to is accurate: George Zimmerman stalked a small black child and murdered him in cold blood, just because he was black.

If that were true, every black person in America should get a gun and join the National Rifle Association, America’s oldest and most august civil rights organization.

Apparently this has occurred to no one because our excellent public education system ensures that no American under the age of 60 has the slightest notion of this country’s history. Gun control laws were originally promulgated by Democrats to keep guns out of the hands of blacks. This allowed the Democratic policy of slavery to proceed with fewer bumps and, after the Civil War, allowed the Democratic Ku Klux Klan to menace and murder black Americans with little resistance. (Contrary to what illiterates believe, the KKK was an outgrowth of the Democratic Party, with overlapping membership rolls. The Klan was to the Democrats what the American Civil Liberties Union is today: Not every Democrat is an ACLU’er, but every ACLU’er is a Democrat. Same with the Klan.)"

Ms. Coulter is absolutely (historically) correct in her assertion. Lest one is either forgetful or completely ignorant of these facts from history, then please consider the following...

"..the Republican Party and a Republican President, Ulysses Grant, destroyed the KKK with their Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871.

How did the Ku Klux Klan re-emerge in the 20th century? For that, the Democratic Party is to blame. It was a racist Democrat President, Woodrow Wilson, who premiered Birth of a Nation in the White House. That racist movie was based on a racist book written by one of Wilson’s racist friends from college.

In 1915, the movie spawned the modern-day Klan, with its burning crosses and white sheets.

Inspired by the movie, some Georgia Democrats revived the Klan. Soon, the Ku Klux Klan again became a powerful force within the Democratic Party. The KKK so dominated the 1924 Democratic Convention that Republicans, speaking truth to power, called it the Klanbake.

In the 1930s, a Democrat President, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, appointed a Klansman, Senator Hugo Black (D-AL), to the U.S. Supreme Court. In the 1950s, the Klansmen against whom the civil rights movement struggled were Democrats. The notorious police commissioner Bull Connor, who attacked African-Americans with dogs and clubs and fire hoses, was both a Klansman and the Democratic Party’s National Committeeman for Alabama. Starting in the 1980s, the Democratic Party elevated a recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan, Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV), to third-in-line for the presidency."

And on and on it goes. On the off-chance you may think the above quotes were selectively pulled from only rare, certain articles, the History.com website provides us with verification...

"Though Democratic leaders would later attribute Ku Klux Klan violence to poorer southern whites, the organization's membership crossed class lines, from small farmers and laborers to planters, lawyers, merchants, physicians and ministers. In the regions where most Klan activity took place, local law enforcement officials either belonged to the Klan or declined to take action against it, and even those who arrested accused Klansmen found it difficult to find witnesses willing to testify against them. Other leading white citizens in the South declined to speak out against the group's actions, giving them tacit approval. After 1870, Republican state governments in the South turned to Congress for help, resulting in the passage of three Enforcement Acts, the strongest of which was the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871."

I truly hope that the democrat party will someday 'fess up and apologize for their contribution to this painful part of our history, but I'm not going to be holding my breath while awaiting them to do so.

Classic Sowell

Economist and author Thomas Sowell is one of the richest resources this country has insofar as recognizing a problem or issue and providing succint analysis that can be understood by the most erudite on down to the common man.  Columnist John Hawkins has ranked the 25 best quotes from over the years by Sowell and I will whet your appetite for the article with a few of my favorites from his list...

  • "Since this is an era when many people are concerned about 'fairness' and 'social justice,' what is your 'fair share' of what someone else has worked for?"
  • "Four things have almost invariably followed the imposition of controls to keep prices below the level they would reach under supply and demand in a free market: (1) increased use of the product or service whose price is controlled, (2) Reduced supply of the same product or service, (3) quality deterioration, (4) black markets."
  • "There are few talents more richly rewarded with both wealth and power, in countries around the world, than the ability to convince backward people that their problems are caused by other people who are more advanced."
  • "The vision of the anointed is one in which ills as poverty, irresponsible sex, and crime derive primarily from 'society,' rather than from individual choices and behavior. To believe in personal responsibility would be to destroy the whole special role of the anointed, whose vision casts them in the role of rescuers of people treated unfairly by 'society'."

Weigel: The story of how China was almost a Christian‏ nation

I truly enjoy George Weigel's columns. He is a highly intelligent and insightful writer. Maintaining his reputation of being one of the leading Catholic writers of our time, his latest article concerning the story of how China was almost a Christian nation doesn't disappoint...

""... a combination of Spanish conquistadors and missionaries, led by a remarkable character named Lopez de Legazpi, proposed to use the new Spanish colony of the Philippines as the launch-pad for a Spanish and Christian takeover of China—an ambition they styled la empresa de China, “the China project.” The “project” fired the imaginations of Legazpi’s successors, who pressed the Spanish monarch, Philip II, for permission to bring China under Spanish control. Philip, whom Hugh Thomas styles “the Great Procrastinator,” dithered, being preoccupied with rebellion in the Spanish Netherlands, and eventually cooled to the idea.

True to the original Ignatian charism, the fires of evangelical (and political) ambition were rekindled by a Jesuit, Alonso Sanchez, who went to China in 1582 and returned to the Philippines determined to revive la empresa de China. It would not be a walkover, Father Sanchez conceded; but he thought 8,000 men and 12 galleons could do the job.

And what a job it would be. For Sanchez and his supporters imagined a China filled with Christian universities and monasteries as well as Spanish forts, a China in which the Spaniards would intermarry with Chinese women (“serious, honest, retiring … and usually of great grace, beauty and discretion”) to form a new mestizo race that would be thoroughly Catholic, and from whose numbers the Gospel would then come (along with Spanish hegemony, of course) to India, Southeast Asia, Borneo, the Moluccas and Sumatra.

Yet the Great Procrastinator in the Escorial continued to, well, procrastinate, and the defeat of the Invincible Armada by Howard and Drake in 1588 gave Philip II even more reason to dither about schemes of conquest and conversion in the Far East. Eventually, as Lord Thomas concludes, “nothing was done.” The plan was never explicitly rejected. Philip II simply let it die of inattention, as consummate bureaucrats know how to do."

Check out the entire article if you get a chance. I fashion myself to be a history buff and I almost majored in it, but I was previously unaware of this chapter of history.

On the H.M.S. Titanic and Salvation

Yesterday, April 15th, marked the 100th anniversery of the sinking of the Titanic. Since then there have been numerous articles out commemorating this event, two of which I'd like to mention here. The first deals with preacher John Harper whose soul was claimed that day by a watery grave...

"When pastor and preacher John Harper and six year old daughter boarded the Titanic it was for the privilege of preaching at one of the greatest churches in America, Moody Church in Chicago, named for its famous founder Dwight L. Moody. The church was anxiously awaiting his arrival not only because of the pending services, but to meet their next pastor, as Harper planned to accept their invitation. Harper was known as an engaging preacher and had pastored two churches in Glasgow and London. His preaching style was suited for an evangelist as testified by the words of another local pastor. "He was a great open-air preacher and could always command large and appreciative audiences. ... He could deal with all kinds of interrupters, his great and intelligent grasp of Bible truths enabling him to successfully combat all assailants."

When the Titanic hit the iceberg, Harper successfully led his daughter to a lifeboat. Being a widower he may have been allowed to join her but instead forsook his own rescue, choosing to provide the masses with one more chance to know Christ. Harper ran person to person, passionately telling others about Christ. As the water began to submerge the "unsinkable" ship, Harper was heard shouting, "women, children, and the unsaved into the lifeboats." Rebuffed by a certain man at the offer of salvation Harper gave him his own life vest, saying, "you need this more than I do." Up until the last moment on the ship Harper pleaded with people to give their lives to Jesus.

The ship disappeared beneath the deep frigid waters leaving hundreds floundering in its wake with no realistic chance for rescue. Harper struggled through hyperthermia to swim to as many people as he could, still sharing the Gospel. Harper evidentially would lose his battle with hypothermia but not before giving many people one last glorious Gospel witness."

The entire article is a great read and I encourage you to click on the above link if you have the time.

The second article I'd like to link to here is by Dr Jerry Newcombe and it asks the question, Do you know who christened the Titanic? Dr Newcombe provides the answer and it also is a great read.

The Obama Administration's War on Working Women

Nothing say "I'm a clueless idiot simply parroting a left-wing talking point" like repeating the current fad in Lying To The Public concerning the manufactured 'Republican War on Women'.

Obama's numbers weren't too hot among women voters so strategists had to formulate this cockamamie scheme to boost their poll numbers.

Now Mitt Romney is weighing in with the pertinent fact concerning the current regime's antagonism towards working women...

"The former Massachusetts governor said 92.3 percent of job losses during Obama’s presidency were experienced by women.

“The other day there’s been some talk about a war on women. The real war on women has been waged by the Obama administration’s failure on the economy. Do you know what percent of the job losses in the Obama years have been casualties of women losing jobs as opposed to men?” Romney said during a campaign stop in Wilmington, Del.

“Do you know how many women – what percent of the job losses were women? 92.3 percent of the job losses during the Obama years has been women who’ve lost those jobs. The real war on women has been the job losses as a result of the Obama economy,” he said."

In fairness, I have heard there might possibly be a bit of overlap in the statistics cited by Romney between the Bush presidency and the current regime. But nothing this clown can say will change the fact that these numbers have only been exacerbated under his presidency.

The Global Warming Fraud Gets Waylaid‏

The Cult of the Hot Planet set suffered yet another devastating setback recently as 50 NASA astronauts, scientists and engineers signed a letter asking that the otherwise reputable agency's credibility not be sent over a cliff in support of unfounded, cultic psuedo-science. Notrickzone.com highlights the verbage of the letter sent late last month to NASA administrator Charles Bolden Jr...

"Eventually the sham is going to give, and the latest letter signed by 50 NASA experts, with more than 1000 years of combined professional experience, is a sure sign the gig’s about over.

"…..unproven remarks…..not substantiated…..hundreds of well-known climate scientists…..tens of thousands of other scientists publicly declaring their disbelief…..science is NOT settled…..unbecoming of NASA’s history…..advocacy of an extreme position…..damage to the exemplary reputation of NASA…..even the reputation of science itself…”

Letters to the top don’t get any more blunt than that.

And how many tens of billions have these crackpots at GISS cost the taxpayers?"

Check out the list that signed to this letter if you get the chance. It contains such names as Al Worden, Richard F. Gordon Jr and Charles Duke. I'll cast my lot with that group any day over the hand-wringing Matrons of Doom advocating extremist social engineering and high taxation in the name of naturally occuring carbon dioxide.

Above photo: Space Shuttle Enterprise. I just found out only about 2 weeks ago that one of the pilots that guided the Enterprise back to earth on the maiden shuttle exercise in 1978 was astronaut Fred Haise, whose character you might remember from the motion picture Apollo 13 played by actor Bill Paxton.

Racism of the Left Becoming More Pronounced‏

A couple of articles in the news this week helped give credence to the oft-quoted line from Tyrone over at Wake up Black America, that quote being "Liberals can't let go of race for one nanosecond"

The first was Time magazine interviewing South Carolina governor Nikki Haley (R) (Who is of Indian ancestry) and asking her, quote "In New York City, which you're visiting for a couple of days, a lot of our taxi drivers are Sikhs. If you get one, are you going to give them a slightly bigger tip?"

Not that the champions of equality aren't taking a dig at a woman who they probably view is the wrong political party for somebody who is both a woman AND a minority. Could you imagine if somebody stereotyped Obama? They'd be calling for someone's head on a platter.

Now it seems that the family of accused gunman George Zimmerman is perplexed that Obama's Justice department is strangely silent regarding the very public threats leveled against Zimmerman by the New Black Panthers...

"In a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday, obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, a family member of George Zimmerman asked the nation’s top law enforcement officer why he has chosen to not arrest members of the New Black Panther Party for their rhetoric — some of which may fit the federal government’s definition of a hate crime — throughout the Trayvon Martin case.

The family member believes the reason Holder hasn’t made those arrests is because he, like the members of the New Black Panther Party, is black.

“I am writing you to ask you why, when the law of the land is crystal clear, is your office not arresting the New Black Panthers for hate crimes?” the family member wrote to Holder.

“The Zimmerman family is in hiding because of the threats that have been made against us, yet the DOJ has maintained an eerie silence on this matter. These threats are very public. If you haven’t been paying attention just do a Google search and you will find plenty. Since when can a group of people in the United States put a bounty on someone’s head, circulate Wanted posters publicly, and still be walking the streets?”

The New Black Panthers have issued ultimatums to the Sanford authorities, saying they want Zimmerman arrested “dead or alive.” They have placed a bounty on Zimmerman’s head, and have called for the building of an army of vigilantes to track him down and effect a citizen’s arrest."

I really wouldn't be suprised if Zimmerman voted for Obama in '08. Wouldn't that be ironic?

It's not all bad news though. Proving the old adage "Even a stopped clock is right twice a day" extreme left-wing commentator Chris Matthews got a full dose of hate-filled gay activism recently at a book signing and flat-out told the activists "Youre trying to silence people". That being said, I believe Matthews is too closely wedded to the leftist ideals to actually change his mind on anything.

Cass: Why You Can Absolutely Trust the Bible‏

I'm quite impressed with the latest effort from Dr Gary Cass in defense of the authenticity of the Holy Bible. As we prepare our hearts for Holy Week, won't you take time to click the embedded link to renew your faith? I especially invite the atheists/skeptics that stop by here from time to time to leave any thoughts they might have in the comment box regarding the cited article. The entire entry is a great read, and I'll quote just one part of it here where Dr Cass resonds to the so-called 'circular reasoning' argument sometimes raised by skeptics...

"Man’s observations are at best limited and very often wrong. Man’s science is constantly changing and correcting itself. “Experts” can usually be found on opposite sides of any issue.

Some might say arguing from the Bible to prove the Bible is illegitimate circular reasoning. But this is what every other competing worldview does. Man must begin his reasoning from some place. Logic demands that this ultimate authority must be a self-authenticating source. Christians start with Almighty God and His self-authenticating Word. Everyone else starts with fallible, finite man and his reasoning. So the question remains, “Are you justified in your starting place?”

Only God is justified in his own truthfulness. Even on the basis of observation only God has observed all things because he is eternal and has created and caused all things.

The Apostle Paul systematically lays out the case that all men are guilty before God because all men have sinned. They have violated God’s law revealed in nature, in their conscience and written by Moses. But, sinful man objects. Man presumptuously puts himself in the place of the judge and puts God on trial. How did Paul respond to the unbelievers’ objection against God? What does Paul say when man turns to put God on trial? “Let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: "That You [God] may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged." (Romans 3:4)

Not even “good men” or even your favorite TV minister is to be the basis of your confidence in God’s Word. Nor should we believe the Bible is true based on the testimony of any church or any church council. That would make the church lord over God and His Word. But God’s self-authenticating Word is the measure of the all things, including the church and its ministers. God will judge the church and all people according to his unchanging moral standard revealed in the Bible."

Man's observations are indeed wrong at times and its safe to say that at least some pet theories of today will one day be discarded for a newer scientific fad when the time comes along. If you are a doubte who is reading this, my hope is that you would analyze God's written word using the same standards you use when forming your opinions on other matters.

Happy Maundy Thursday to all the Presbyterians out there!

PFOX Highlights Gay Inc.'s Antagonism Towards Former Homosexuals‏

Three cheers for Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays for fighting for the freedom of ex-gays to have their voices heard. While certain school districts simply lap up whatever propaganda is offered up by the Pink Hand such as The Day of Silence, PFOX offers an alternative view by encouraging students to print and distribute flyers that promote the organization's mission and resources to offer a balanced view on this chosen, alternative lifestyle...

"It lets people know that PFOX can offer resources for parents and students as well as ex-”gay” speakers for schools or clubs, books for libraries and other information.

“Every year thousands of people with unwanted same-sex attractions make the personal decision to leave a gay identity through non-judgmental environments or their own initiative. Their decision is one only they can make. However, there are those in society who refuse to respect an individual’s right to self-determination,” the brochure explains. “Consequently, formerly gay men and women are discriminated against simply because they dare to exist. Ex-gays and their supporters are denied equal access and support, forcing them to remain silent for fear of negative reactions and disapproval.”

The brochure documents that “there are no replicated scientific studies to support hat a person can be born ‘gay.’ No ‘gay gene’ or gay center of the brain has been found. No medical test exists to determine if a person is homosexual. Sexual orientation is based on feelings and is a matter of self-affirmation and public declaration. Some teens are labeled ‘gay’ or other names even though they do not have same-sex attractions. Appearance is not a reliable means to know what another person feels. No one should be labeled based on the perception of others. Name calling is wrong because the victim can begin to believe what others tell them about themselves, which may be completely false labeling and cause gender confusion.”" (emphasis mine)

Outstanding PFOX! May others learn by your example and refused to be silenced when doing the right thing might not be popular thing to do. The Parent Teachers Association has already shown themselves to be completely against the freedom of expression in classrooms on this subject. Oh, that students might have the liberty to hear both sides of the subject and then decide for themselves.
